Jake Haggmark.

Jake Haggmark is a designer with a master of architecture from The Ohio State University and a B.S. in architectural technology from Alfred State College. He has lived, worked and studied in New York, Italy, China and Ohio. He is currently working in St. Louis at Cannon Design and previously worked at Cannon Design's Shanghai Office. In 2009 he partnered with Alex Ruiz to win the Design my Backyard competition in Columbus, OH. He was a project team member for Matter Design's installation project: La Voute de LeFevre. For the 13th Venice Biennale, Jake oversaw the design, fabrication, and installation of A Field of Dreams, which was Jeff Kipnis's contribution to Peter Eisenman's installation, The Piranesi Variations. During his graduate studies, he helped teach a structures course and published the essay Copy and Paste in the architecture magazine One:Twelve. He has been an invited critic and lecturer at Ohio State and Alfred State. Jake's approach to design brings a relentless rigor to accidental discoveries. His exit review was titled Going off on Tangents, This is a Mistake, which argued the benefits of letting designs wander.
